Apex
About a mile off shore, in Lake Michigan I found this natural ice sculpture. It took three days, six hand warmers and a bit of luck to find the right angle. Late into the third evening the sun hit the ice and finally created the moment I had been waiting for.

Illumination
While hiking along the Swift Current trail I stopped for some water, when I noticed the sun hitting the tips of the Timothy Grass. I love the simplicity of this image and the relaxed feeling it projects.

Heart of The River
This heart shaped rock caught my eye, one afternoon in Flathead National Forest. I love this piece so much that I have it on my wall at home. The detail of the rock with the moving water produce a calming image. This is a small detail hidden in a vast, yet powerful forest.
