While waiting for this storm to pass, I decided to set up my camera gear. For a moment I thought that I had missed the lighting over the lake. Then suddenly the storm provided me with one last burst of lightening. I was lucky because, at that very moment I had the shutter open to capture this striking image.
Along the "Going to The Sun" road in Glacier National Park, I waited for this sunset overlooking the Livingston Mountain Range with little hope. Clouds had moved in and it was getting dark. As I prepared to head back to camp, with feelings of defeat; the sun suddenly broke through! The moment was amazing. To the casual observer this is a nice sunset but to me, this piece means so much more. That sunset over Heavens Peak, solidified my passion for creating beautiful art pieces with my camera.
